My name is Emma, I'm an Australian Work At Home Mum.

I have 2 boys, who keep me very busy.
I have a love of sewing, and anything creative.
I was all set to become a graphic designer,
then got drawn into the family patchwork store,
where I worked full time until I had my first son.
My love of sewing and creating has inspired me
to make loads of patchwork quilts. Having smaller time blocks since having babies, I've had to find smaller projects. Modern Cloth Nappies are a perfect way to experiment with colour, design and create something functional, and fun.

At first I was switching to cloth nappies to cure my toddler's reacurring, incurable (or so I thought) nappy rash, and get my baby's pooplosions under control.
Then I found out all the huge environmental benefits,
not to mention the $$ I'd save having both boys in cloth full time

(although a fabric addiction will use up any leftover $$ *giggle*).

So I kept churning out the nappies, made some for friends, talked about making them to sell, watched a lot of my friends get organised and open thier stores............
So here I am now finally taking the plunge.

My goal is to make gorgeous, unique nappies, to show off,
that you will want to keep forever,
and most of all work well.

I really wish I had known about modern cloth nappies sooner, and used them right from the start with my children. So being able to spread the word, and encourage people to try MCNs on thier babies is a blessing.
